The few times I do speak, though, I'ld like it to be as good as possible. There are many books on public speaking, which probably makes sense: people who are good at speaking on stage usually also enjoy spreading their ideas in print. His book references a bunch of the ones on my lists and “connects the dots” between them. In this hilarious and highly practical book, author and professional speaker Scott Berkun reveals the techniques behind what great communicators do, and shows how anyone can learn to use them well. I personally can do it, but I tend to talk to fast and use way to many “ummms”.
